MFCCE 350 400 550 Copper Continuous Extrusion Machine:
n order to solve the problem of not continuous, limited product length, high energy consumption and low produce efficiency during traditional nonferrous metal extrusion process, people began to research continuous extrusion in 1970's, In 1971, Mr. D.Green from UKAEA invented the continuous extrusion, which was regarded as a revolution in non-ferrous metal processing technology.
Choose Grain or rod semifinished product, and use friction between deformed metal and mold, When the extrusion wheel spins, we keep feeding rod material with the help of the friction from the walls of the trench. The temperature of deformed area will rise to the recrystallization range for the great extrusion and friction force, so the rod material don't need to be heated. The rod material is extruded from the model through chamber. Some low-melting metal like aluminum (alloy) , pure copper (alloy) can be once-molded and be produced to various size of aluminum pipes, bars, copper bars, rods etc.

Advantages Compare to Traditional Process:
1. Less process, low investment on equipment
One time formed by extrusion, no need of annealing, heating, acid cleaning, trimming, realize simple and clean production.
2. Lower power consumption, no need of preheat
During Extrusion, sufficient heat will be generated by press and friction force on the feeding rod. So no need of feeding rod preheat, Thus product unit power consumption is much lower.
3. Less scrap, high rate of final product
Free of process residues such as remainder, side-cut makes high material utilization ratio, the ratio of finished product is more than 90%
4. High quality, better conductivity
Continuous extrusion is plastic deformation of the feeding rod under high temperature, completely eliminating the internal defects in the material itself, the use of high-quality extrusion dies, extrusion at high temperature to ensure that products are the best forming accuracy and good cross-section shape. The extrusion process to increase the density of the material, the grain is uniform and compact, so that the resistivity decreases and the conductivity is improved, the product quality is more perfect.
5. Continuous and long length production
Apply Up cast or continuous cast coil rod as raw material, can produce big length product while traditional process usually less than 30-50m. Continuous extrusion product is coil type, easy for transportation.
6. Lower labor cost, high automation
The whole production line realizes the computer automation control; only 2 operators are needed for production. For different sizes, only mould replaced, easy and fast. It is suitable to small quantity and diverse sizes production.
